MIDNATT, Sweden’s filthy and rowdy heavy metal powerhouse, are back in action with their much awaited debut LP: Skräckfylld Förtjusning. Following their blistering Metallisk Hetta demo recorded back in 2022, Midnatt now return to claim their rightful place of honour among the new guard of Swedish Heavy Metal.

Out on Jawbreaker Records on the 27th of March 2026, Skräckfylld Förtjusning (“Terrifying Delight”) is filled with bashing street fighting tracks, melancholic Eastern Block tributes, pure heavy metal anthems and songs about the fascination and salutation of death. The album channels the same primitive fire that fueled the early days of the First Wave of Swedish Heavy Metal movement, while carving out its own distinct identity rooted in darkness, grime, and steel. Produced in the dark woods of Värmland, Sweden with an ear for analog power and authenticity, Skräckfylld Förtjusning somehow manages to capture the essence of true heavy metal without being weighed down by any unnecessary frills. This is heavy metal as it was meant to be: rough, gritty, powerful and alive.

Across its ten tracks, Conquering Swords leads listeners through a world of high adventure and medieval grandeur – a realm where valor, betrayal and destiny collide. Turbo’s Tribunal is the brainchild of a single Danish musician, Andreas Thunbo, who channels over three decades of dedication to classic heavy metal into one project. Thunbo is a veteran of the underground, active for more than 30 years in projects such as Pugnator, Peine and Oath of Woe. Though releases have been few, his commitment to heavy metal’s core spirit has never wavered.  With the debut album Mills of Tribunal, Thunbo and Turbo’s Tribunal delivers riff-driven, melodic heavy metal forged in the true traditional style – heavy, pure and with an epic touch.

Turbo’s Tribunal stands firmly on the belief that strong riffs and memorable melodies are the beating heart of real heavy metal. The sound draws deep inspiration from the legends: Running Wild, Warlord, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Manowar, and Heavy Load – yet with its own distinctive edge. Mills of Tribunal represents both a culmination of experience and a personal statement – honest, riff-based and proud of its roots.

“I’d rather let the music speak for itself,” says the man behind the project. “But I can say that it is exclusively riff-based, traditional melodic heavy metal, sometimes with an epic touch. The good riff/melody is paramount, as I think it should be, and I hope Turbo’s Tribunal can guarantee that, as I think it has become a bit of a shortage.”

Formed in the heart of Mexico City, StarForce forge a sound that blends cosmic storytelling with unrelenting speed and melody. Their music draws heavy inspiration from classic 80s metal such as Racer X, Cacophony, Agent Steel, Heavens Gate, Judas Priest and Riot, while also carving out their own identity alongside contemporary speed metal torchbearers such as Armory, Riot City, Enforcer and Skullfist .
