Midnatt – Skräckfylld Förtjusning

Debut full-length album out March 27, 2026

(LP / CD / Cassette / Digital via Jawbreaker Records)

MIDNATT, Sweden’s filthy and rowdy heavy metal powerhouse, are back in action with their much awaited debut LP: Skräckfylld Förtjusning. Following their blistering Metallisk Hetta demo recorded back in 2022, Midnatt now return to claim their rightful place of honour among the new guard of Swedish Heavy Metal.

Out on Jawbreaker Records on the 27th of March 2026, Skräckfylld Förtjusning (“Terrifying Delight”) is filled with bashing street fighting tracks, melancholic Eastern Block tributes, pure heavy metal anthems and songs about the fascination and salutation of death. The album channels the same primitive fire that fueled the early days of the First Wave of Swedish Heavy Metal movement, while carving out its own distinct identity rooted in darkness, grime, and steel. Produced in the dark woods of Värmland, Sweden with an ear for analog power and authenticity, Skräckfylld Förtjusning somehow manages to capture the essence of true heavy metal without being weighed down by any unnecessary frills. This is heavy metal as it was meant to be: rough, gritty, powerful and alive.

With the addition of new axeman Edward Pancetti to the lineup, Midnatt burns hotter than ever — a perfect storm of aggression and melody that recalls the early works of Heavy LoadGotham CityAxe Witch, and Jonah QuizzSkräckfylld Förtjusning is not an album for the faint of heart. It is for those who crave the raw and the real, who live for the sound of chains, steel, and midnight fire. When darkness falls — Midnatt rises.

For fans of: Heavy Load, Axe Witch, Gotham City, Jonah Quizz and other 80s Swedish Heavy Metal.

Templar – Conquering Swords

Sweden’s heavy metal warriors Templar return from the forge with their highly awaited debut full-length album: Conquering Swords – a triumph of steel, melody, and unyielding spirit. Out February 27, 2026 on Jawbreaker Records, this album sees Templar fully realize the potential shown on their Black Knight demo and Treacherous Beast single, striking with the precision and might of seasoned conquerors.

Recorded under the guiding hand of Staffan Tengnér (Century), Conquering Swords carries that unmistakable warmth and authenticity that you’ll recognize from the Treacherous Beast 7″ as well as Century’s albums. The production balances raw energy with clarity, allowing every soaring guitar harmony and pounding bassline to shine through. The final blade was sharpened by Patrick W. Engel at Temple of Disharmony, whose mastering lends the album its thunderous and timeless power.

Across its ten tracks, Conquering Swords leads listeners through a world of high adventure and medieval grandeur – a realm where valor, betrayal and destiny collide. Dual guitars blaze like clashing steel, while galloping rhythms and anthemic choruses summon visions of distant fortresses and moonlit battlefields. In short, Templar continue to tend to the flame of true Heavy Metal first ignited by Heavy Load and other golden era bands from the First Wave of Swedish Heavy Metal.

With Isak Neffling’s commanding vocals and thundering bass, Mille Lundström’s relentless drumming, and the dueling guitars of Teddy Edoff and Gustav HarryssonTemplar are raiding the banner of Heavy Metal high – pure, unfiltered heavy metal with heart, honor, and hooks to spare. So raise your swords and heed the call to arms! The conquest begins February 27, 2026.

For fans of: Century, Heavy Load, Onyx, Overdrive, Mercyful Fate and Axewitch.
