Jawbreaker Records is proud to announce the release of Razorvoid‘s debut full-length album Into the Void, out October 2 on vinyl LP, CD, and digital formats.

Formed in 2021 out of a shared obsession with old-school death metal, thrash, d-beat punk and traditional heavy metal, Razorvoid have spent the last few years sharpening their sound into a relentless force by drawing inspiration from bands such as Motörhead, Anti-Cimex and Repugnant. Following their self-released Sonic Decay cassette and the critically acclaimed Terror In Time EP, the Swedish quartet returns with their most ferocious material to date.

Into the Void delivers eleven new tracks of razor-sharp riffs, pounding rhythms and apocalyptic intensity. Rooted in the aggression of classic extreme metal while fueled by the raw energy of punk, the album captures Razorvoid at their most focused and uncompromising. Fast, heavy and overflowing with attitude, these songs are built for the stage and designed to leave a mark. The result is a crushing collection of songs that channels chaos, speed and power into a compact but devastating release.

Jawbreaker Records are proud to announce the upcoming release of speed metal band Meurtrier‘s debut full-length album Messe de Fer!

Forged in the shadows of Québec City in 2023, Meurtrier emerged from the ranks of seasoned veterans of the Québec and Montréal metal underground with one objective: to resurrect the fierce spirit of classic heavy and speed metal through a distinctly French-Canadian lens.

Drawing inspiration from the savage energy of mid-’80s European and American metal, Meurtrier delivers a dark and relentless assault of razor-sharp riffs, pounding rhythms, and haunting melodies, all carried by French-language lyrics steeped in occult mysticism and epic grandeur. Their sound blends the raw aggression of speed metal with the atmosphere and weight of traditional heavy metal, creating a universe both menacing and triumphant.

Following the release of their first demo in 2024 through Jawbreaker Records, the band returns in 2026 with a renewed lineup and visual signature as well as their debut full-length album, Messe de Fer (French for Iron Mass). The current incarnation of Meurtrier features Will Verrault and Martin Paquet on guitars, Tony Verrault on vocals, Jeff Tremblay on bass, and Randy behind the drums — a five-piece force driven by passion, intensity, and unwavering devotion to the steel of a bygone era.

Despite only a handful of live appearances so far, Meurtrier has already earned a reputation for high-energy performances fueled by the relentless momentum of their songs and the commanding charisma of frontman Tony Verrault. On stage, the band channels pure metallic ferocity, leaving audiences caught between darkness, speed, and fire.
