Out Now: Disarray – The Darkening

In conjunction with the band’s appearance at The Summoning of Darkness Festival in Stockholm, Disarray is releasing their new EP, The Darkening. The follow-up to last year’s highly acclaimed full length album Religious Disease, is a relentless continuation of raw technical aggression from one of the most promising bands of the young Swedish thrash metal scene.

This time around, the band entered Devo Andersson’s Endarker Studio, famous for crafting some of the most brutal black metal albums in recent years. Brutality aside, Disarray’s aim has been to go both for a more technical direction while also developing a more organic presentation. The result is an astonishingly accomplished offering that shows a more mature band, still steaming with furious anger towards a world gone off the rails.

The EP contains three brand new songs, a re-recorded version of the title track from debut album Evil is Reborn, as well as two live tracks. If you are a fan of early Kreator or Dark Angel with a soft spot for Devastation (Chicago) and Morbid Saint, Disarray is for you. Get ready for a ruthless onslaught of deadly thrash metal, played with a passion and conviction that is sorely missing from many contemporary acts within this genre today.

StarForce – Beyond the Eternal Night

Jawbreaker Records are proud to announce the upcoming release of Beyond the Eternal Night, the debut full-length album from Mexico City’s rising heavy/speed metal force StarForce, on CD format.

Formed in the heart of Mexico City, StarForce forge a sound that blends cosmic storytelling with unrelenting speed and melody. Their music draws heavy inspiration from classic 80s metal such as Racer X, Cacophony, Agent Steel, Heavens Gate, Judas Priest and Riot, while also carving out their own identity alongside contemporary speed metal torchbearers such as Armory, Riot City, Enforcer and Skullfist .

With 11 tracks of pure cosmic steel spanning 52 minutes of playing time, Beyond the Eternal Night is a sonic voyage through the farthest reaches of space and imagination. The album is packed with lightning-fast riffs, interstellar melodies, and lyrics steeped in science fiction themes – a true cosmic collision of stars and reality.

At the forefront is vocalist Mely “Wild” Solís, whose soaring, commanding voice fits perfectly with the band’s blistering fast, yet melodic instrumentation. The result is both razor-sharp and irresistibly catchy, ensuring these songs will lodge themselves like an alien brain parasite in the head of any true metal maniac.

Jawbreaker Records are more than happy to bring this powerful debut to the people of planet Earth. Fans of high-octane, melodic heavy/speed metal should brace themselves – Beyond the Eternal Night is an album not to be missed.

Beyond the Eternal Night will be out on CD on November 14, 2025. Pre-orders are now live at www.jawbreaker.se.

Information for our US customers

Unfortunately it is temporarily not possible to send any goods from Sweden to USA due to recent political decisions around tariffs.

These tariffs have to be paid in advance before shipping, and based on the fact that US officials only gave the Swedish postal service a 2 week advance warning, they do not yet have a technical system in place to handle this.

We apologize to our US customers, and hope that a solution will be in place soon.
