April Newsletter
Greetings Jawbreakers! It was some time since our last newsletter, so let's recap everything that has happened since then.

- Given the high popularity of the Mindless Sinner tapes we decided to produce a third edition of both Master of Evil and Turn on the Power. Again with a new layout that turned out great!
- The second batch of Amethyst tapes are due for the end of April. These are selling fast as a shark [a few dozens remaining as of writing this] so be quick as quicksilver if you don't want to miss out on this one.
- The Impending Triumph pre-order is open, and two single tracks have been unleashed so far. You can listen to both at the Jawbreaker Records Bandcamp page. This release will be out on vinyl, tape, and CD on the 5th of May. Also available in a few different bundle packages with exclusive extras. Check it out if you like epic heavy metal in the school of Manowar!
- Löanshark – The Gangland Tapes was released in March. On this tape you will find 8 heavy/speed metal songs of top notch quality.
- Finally we have the self-titled debut album by Gothenburg's Goatfyre which also came out in March. Slaying metal punk with hellish female vocals that will rip your head off!

Mindless Sinner
Swedish heavy metal legends Mindless Sinner need no further introduction. The tape editions from Jawbreaker Records are the only officially released Mindless Sinner tapes ever made. These are the third pressings, with a special layout that is unique to each pressing.
|
Master of Evil is the band’s groundbreaking debut EP from 1983. Includes six rare bonus demo tracks (also recorded in 1983)! These tracks are previously only available on the 2003 CD re-release by Metal For Muthas. Tracks 5-9 have been re-mixed specifically for this tape release! Third edition limited to 200 copies on white tape.

Turn on the Power is Mindless Sinner's debut album, recorded in 1984 and released in 1986. Includes 9 rare bonus tracks: 4 alternative versions of songs from the album recorded in 1986 (previously only available on the 2015 CD re-release by Eat Metal Records) and 5 demo tracks, also from 1986 (previously only available on the 2003 CD re-release by Metal For Muthas). Third edition limited to 200 copies on black tape.

Amethyst – Rock Knights
|
Amethyst from Switzerland is the new underground sensation taking the world by storm. The band's inspiration comes not from a specific band in particular, but rather from the sound in general of the era between 1979 and 1981, and the spirit of said time. The first batch of 200 tapes sold out in no time at all, making Amethyst one of the most popular bands on the Jawbreaker roster. We are now offering those of you who missed the first run a second chance, this time with a batch of Obsidian Black tapes. Rock Knights is Amethyst‘s debut 4-song tape.

Impending Triumph – EP

The self-titled debut EP by Impending Triumph is a must-have for all old-school heavy metal fans. The EP delivers a powerful and passionate tribute to the genre, drawing inspiration from legendary bands like Manowar, Accept, Running Wild, and Helloween. The lyrics follow the story of Puritania, a fictional empress, and touch on the importance of free-thinking and standing one’s ground. Löanshark – The Gangland Tapes
|
Löanshark is a traditional Heavy Metal power trio from Barcelona, Spain, whose objective is to recover the glory of the bands that played the purest and most classic Heavy Metal in the first half of the 80s. To find its own sound, Löanshark is also inspired by classic speed metal, hard rock and blues. The aim of their songs is to transmit energy and badassism based on electric riffs and structures that encourage headbanging and the desire to sing along with the band’s contagious choruses. The Gangland Tapes collects the band’s entire discography so far.

Goatfyre – Goatfyre
|
Goatfyre formed in 2019 with the intention of creating a sound that blends the raw energy of punk with the heavy riffs of metal. The result – dubbed Slaying Metal Punk – is a force to be reckoned with, especially the aggressive and commanding vocals delivered by frontwoman Åse. Goatfyre’s self-titled debut album is a relentless assault on the senses. With its raw energy, heavy riffs, and in-your-face vocals, the album is sure to appeal to fans of all things heavy and punk.
