In conjunction with the orbital bombartment known as the Quadrantids Meteor Shower, the cosmic horror that is DUNWICH RITUAL will also descend upon mankind with their new offering, known as The Weird Tapes Sessions, through Jawbreaker Records. The estimated date of impact is January 1, 2024.
Dunwich Ritual plays “cosmic speed metal” and hails from Deuil-la-Barre on the outskirts of Paris, France. The band’s lyrics explore outwordly spaces and dimensions, inspired by the works of horror and science fiction legends such as H.P. Lovecraft and Robert E. Howard, as well as the worlds of Hidetaka Miyazaki. The lyrics work well with the group’s mind-bending speed metal, making Dunwich Ritual a perfect fit for Jawbreaker Records! The Weird Tapes Sessions is a compilation that collects the first 3 arcs of the band’s Lovecraftian journey through madness and beyond. The 8 cosmic horror tales of The Weird Tapes Sessions were recorded in 3 different sessions during the year of 2022. Get ready to embark on a journey of horror and magic, channeled through the power of epic speed metal!
Limited to 100 copies on yellow tape and 200 copies on blue tape, as well as 300 copies on CD.
